I am a Human Geographer looking to understand how this dessert has led to shows such as Cupcake Wars and 2 Broke Girls, the Texas Safe Cupcake Amendment Act, appearances in the media, including a Louis Vuitton cupcake display in Milan in 2012 and Takashi Murakami’s cupcake, apparently a staple in Pharrell Williams’ life, sparkling with jewels.
